NuSlate

NuSlate is a solvent-based acrylic solution designed specifically for sealing natural slate flooring and tiles. NuSlate provides excellent interior and exterior durability with exceptional abrasion, chemical and water resistance.

Application Guide

Equipment

Best application results on natural slate are achieved using a lambs-wool pad application. Application by brush, roller, broom or spray is also possible.

Touch Dry

NuSlate is touch dry @ 25°C 30 minutes.

Recoat Time

Minimum 2 hours between coats in warm weather and longer in cool weather.

Curing Time

Curing time is subject to ambient temperature and coating thickness. Full curing is not achieved for up to one week.

Do not park vehicles on newly applied NuSlate for 7 days

Clean Up

Clean up all surfaces and equipment using PaveCoat Thinners

Warnings

Do not apply NuSlate late in the day or early in the morning. Sealer affected by moisture may appear milky.

NuSlate contains flammable solvents and suitable safety precautions must be taken during handling and application.

Ensure adequate ventilation if applying sealer in enclosed spaces. Avoid contact with naked flames, sparks, pilot lights and other sources of ignition.
